Best Face Scrubs - Body Scrubs, Sugar Face Scrubs And More

Get to know your skin and you will soon be on the way to achieving that fresh and wholesome look we all dream of. To have great looking skin we can do a couple of simple things: watch what we eat and have a daily skin care routine. Exfoliating and homemade scrubs are a real tonic for rejuvenating the skin. The more natural you can make your skin care the better. The more natural foods you can eat (i.e. not processed) the better.

Why is all natural skin care better?

It makes sense really that our bodies like products and foods that don’t contain any preservatives and that aren’t heavily processed. Most people are now aware of how too much processed foods are not good for health; this is the same for skin care. The only reasons some ingredients in skin care are there are to actually pump up the volume and to give it a longer shelf life. What’s the point when you can create your own exfoliating homemade scrubs and moisturizers very easily at home? (And at half the cost)

Another interesting point to make about preservatives in skin care and food is - why? Why do we have this inner desire to have something on the shelf for so long? It’s just a complete waste especially when nature has already given us what we need. Check these scrubs out to see how easy and simple natural homemade skin care recipes are to create:

Think these are not as good as applying expensive skin care products to your skin? Think again, they are loaded with beneficial nutrients like antioxidants, vitamins, exfoliant peel active ingredients and regenerative properties.

If you've ever heard of products that contain papaya or pineapple and fruit acids, you'll know they promise smoother rejuvenated skin or a younger complexion. Well many natural masks also contain the enzymes and fruit acids these products contain, often in stronger concentrations.

They nourish your skin with anti-oxidants to repair and protect skin. They also remove the tops layers of skin and stimulate new cell and collagen production.

Use fruit masks, serums and mask recipes as bases and add granular or chemical additives like sugar, oatmeal, jojoba beads or salt to make a soothing scrub.

Then add essential oils to really boost their potency if you wish.
